The Charities Regulator published the Inspectors’ Report into Ataxia Ireland CLG on 27 July. It wrote to the trustees of Ataxia Ireland CLG on that date, giving them 21 days to provide the Charities Regulator with an action plan which addresses the Inspectors’ recommendations.
On 15 August the Board of Ataxia Ireland wrote to the Charities Regulator requesting a further two weeks to finalise their action plan.
Due to the significant nature of some of the findings contained in the Inspectors' Report that the Charity needs to address, the Charities Regulator has agreed to the Charity's request and has extended the deadline to Friday 1 September 2017.
