The Charities Regulator was established in 2014 and is an independent authority. We are Ireland's national statutory regulator for charitable organisations
Our key functions include the maintenance of a public register of charitable organisations in Ireland and ensuring their compliance with the Charities Acts. Read more here
The Authority Members were appointed by the Minister for Justice and Equality, and the Minister of State for the Department of Rural and Community Development.
